About this keyboard speed test

A quick guide to KPS, key modes, and the BPM shown in your graph.

What is KPS?

KPS means keys per second. This tester counts valid keyboard presses in a rolling one-second window and ignores held-key repeat, giving you a clean measure of tapping speed.

1K, 2K, 3K, 4K and more

Use the built-in layouts for common osu!mania and rhythm-game patterns, or create a custom 1–8 key setup for vibro, alternation, or any keyboard speed challenge.

How KPS becomes BPM

The graph converts KPS to a four-notes-per-beat BPM estimate, normalized by the number of active keys. Hover any point to see its KPS, time, and BPM.
